    We are currently seeking a Business / Pricing Analyst to join our team at our headquarters in Lisle, IL.


    This role requires the ability to be technically savvy, process oriented, and have strong business acumen.  This full time role will assist in strategic design for future enterprise-wide business systems, collaborate with IT business partners for continuous system support and development needs,  create solutions for business analytic needs integrating data from multiple platforms and drive analytics for market research on Pricing, Business Reporting needs, as well as specific customer requests, with the ability to transact SQL.

    The right candidate will have the ability to  design and create in Power BI, Excel, and Access and have familiarity with various IT platforms (Oracle, SAP, Baan, Peoplesoft, PROS).  This role will also engage in LEAN process improvement techniques for workflow and documentation requirements and have the ability to design, create and execute complex or specialized projects. 


    This role is also the key pricing administrator to execute various functions to deliver dealer/customer price books.  In addition, there are various reporting functions that need to completed in conjunction with each release.  This person will also take part in process improvement projects designed to document the current process and create sustainable processes to automate those in the future. 

    Position Purpose

    Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge. Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues. May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.


    Basic Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of analytics experience 


    • Master’s degree and at least 3 years of analytics experience


    • At least 7 years of analytics experience

    Additional Requirements

    • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.     Desired Skills:

    • Financial acumen, understanding financial metrics inlcuding NEt Change, Gross Margin, Gross Profit, Percentages, Variances, etc.
    • Ability to transact SQL
    • Design and create in Power BI
    • Strong to expert skill level with Excel and Access
    • Familiarity with various IT platforms (Oracle, SAP, Baan, Peoplesoft, PROS)
    • Strong ability to relate to and work with a broad constituency of customers, dealers, supplies, procurement and parts sales.
    • Experience with pricing segmentation strategies, along with a familiarity with pricing software
    • Seeking a strong reporting and documentation skillset
    • Pricing background desired
    • Prior account pricing, bidding experience
