    Navistar is hiring a Northeast Region Business Development Consultant Sr.. for our Parts Commercial Acceleration Program. You will act as a dealer consultant to drive Retail sales and Parts Margins by increasing sales productivity through improvements in a dealer fixed operations.   

     

    As part of Navistar's Commercial Acceleration Program, the Fixed Operations Consultant will review dealer’s parts sales strategies, provide inside and outsides sales training, and grow parts retail sales through all dealership operations.

     

    Following Navistar's Commercial Acceleration Program parts sales playbook, you will review and advise dealers on the best approach for improving lead generation pipeline, usage of sales scripts, pricing segmentation and over value proposition for Navistar’s various parts programs.  

     

    This is a unique and rewarding business development/ sales role which includes a competitive base salary and Annual Incentive bonus.

    Position Purpose

    Oversees the development of strategic market/product line business plans and marketing programs to support sales in designated market segments; identifies volume and strategic customers; and develops partnerships. Analyzes market data to identify trends/opportunities, develops strategic direction from market information, and creates compelling market analysis presentations. May conduct make-versus-buy analysis from a partnership/merger/acquisition perspective. 

     

    Basic Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of business development, mergers and acquisitions, or joint venture experience
    • At least 1 year of lead experience

     OR

    • Master's degree and at least 6 years of business development, mergers and acquisitions, or joint venture experience
    • At least 1 year of lead experience

     OR

    • At least 10 years of business development, mergers and acquisitions, or joint venture experience
    • At least 1 year of lead experience

    Additional Requirements

    • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
