The Procurement Supervisor will implement and monitor supply-side, demand-side and process change activities associated with indirect products and/or services. Individual will gain knowledge of and become skilled in strategic sourcing approaches, assessment of business capacities and capabilities of suppliers, as well as the ability to enhance quality, streamline work processes and eliminate rework activities to reduce total cost. This position will interact with suppliers and employees at all levels.
This role will support one or more of the following functions: material and services sourcing, procurement, supplier management, production planning, transportation, inventory control, distribution, and process reengineering.
