Implement Category Management Team strategies with respect to managing the development and execution of source changes, design changes, capacity increases, and other cost reduction methods. Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams to develop and track project timelines. Monitors the project from initiation through implementation including the planning phase. Directly works with suppliers, hosts meetings, and organizes cross-functional activities, to ensure on-time and on-budget completion of the projects. Works closely with company manufacturing plants, develops and monitors critical supplier shipment pipelines to ensure continuous supply. This role manages specific projects that have a distinct beginning and end.
This is a program based position, full-time for a period of one year.
This role will support one or more of the following functions: material and services sourcing, procurement, supplier management, production planning, transportation, inventory control, distribution, and process reengineering.
