    We are seeking a Senior Fulfillment Specialist: duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

     

    • Expedites customer backorders and critical parts
    • Manage all parts activities required to bring a customer owned vehicle back into service
    • Work with suppliers to update orders with shipping and tracking information for orders.
    • Develop and maintain positive communication between all businesses within and outside of the company to achieve desired results. 
      • Answer questions through email, phone calls, iKNow and all future communication portals in a timely, professional manner 
      • Assure customers/dealers  receive the proper and timely assistance necessary through monitoring the interactions between them and a given support team
      • Assure accurate/timely responses to inquiries related to parts availability and the scheduling and expediting of all orders on a daily basis to meet or exceed customer expectations.
    • Ensure that the customer orders are fulfilled with a sense of urgency by exploring all potential sources up-front.
    • Manage the order fulfillment process including administration, expediting, problem solving and shipping of parts orders, using all available tools
    • Responsible for meeting all department objectives and metrics.
    • Collaborate with internal and external contacts to drive for results (issue elevation).
    • Documents root cause, establishes action plans, reports progress, and follows through to resolution of issues.
    • Demonstrate organizational skills and sense of urgency in a fast-paced multi-task environment when answering and responding to customer needs. 
    • Provides input to continuous improvement and lean operating practices to support Navistar and our customers
    • Enhance supplier on time delivery through interfacing directly and routinely with suppliers
    • Support work-around and contingency plans, including deliveries from alternate suppliers / sources
    • Communicate supply issues to Parts management and Purchasing

    Position Purpose and Requirements

    Fulfills orders, including order entry, administration, and shipping. Processes orders and oversees related activities of third-party vendors to ensure orders flow effectively through systems and processes in accordance with the organization's customer service standards. Develops capacity plans to support build-to-stock and/or build-to-order environments. Ensures adequate inventory levels are maintained to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.  Prepares and maintains volume and demand planning analyses and supply and production schedules based on internal and external information to establish and effectively manage an order backlog.

     

    Basic Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of supply chain experience

    OR

    • Master’s degree

    OR

    • At least 4 years of supply chain experience

     

    Additional Requirements

    • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
