    We are currently seeking a Logistics Analyst Sr. to join our Used Truck Organization (UTO) within Navistar.  This role will work directly with Navistar dealers, customers, Used Truck Centers and internal contacts via phone, case file and email to inspect, acquire and distribute trade-in units and UTO inventory.

    • Review truck inspection reports
    • Communicate with customers regarding repair items
    • Manage inspection and freight vendors
    • Manage distribution of inventory and logistics

    You may qualify for this position with your truck service experience, ability to recognize repair issues and distinguish between truck models and specifications. Willing to train logistics aspect. Broad Supply Chain experience is not required. 

     

    Position Purpose and Requirements

    Organizes and handles a variety of logistics issues in a manufacturing environment. Duties involve but are not limited to supply chain services, inventory control, critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, shipment of products, and third party warehousing. Evaluates customer support and field service commitments to ensure customer requirements are met. Serves as liaison between sales and operations teams to develop concepts and coordinate product knowledge; provides data analysis for production planning and volume studies; and participates in process/rating improvement efforts. Assists in developing logistics plans and procedures.  Majority of time spent on performing technically based activities.  Beginning to contribute to and manage projects.  Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.  Builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers.  Solves a range of straightforward problems.  Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.  Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.

     

    Basic Requirements:

    • Master's Degree

    OR

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • At least 2 years of supply chain experience

    OR

    • At least 4 years of supply chain experience

    Additional Requirements

    • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
    • Farmiliarity with trucks and specifications
    • Strong customer service skills (electronic and verbal)
