    The Parts Sales Manager provides functional parts business expertise to the district dealer teams in Colorado, Wyoming, West Texas, New Mexico. They are also responsible for creating, developing, and managing relationships between the Navistar and retention/conquest customers, including local, regional, and national accounts.

     

    Other duties:

    • Responsible for creating, developing, and managing relationships between the Company and retention/conquest customers, including local, regional, and national accounts
    • Provides leadership to dealer sales organization in developing strategic account level business relationships
    • Professionally represent the Company to appropriate customer contacts.
    • Work with marketing, truck sales, product teams, and technology groups to implement sales strategies specific to individual dealer markets.
    • Ensure dealer personnel are qualified and proficient in sales related competencies and capabilities to serve their market.
    • Refine and customize the corporate business strategy to the local level.
    • Provide leadership by demonstrating excellent sales capabilities, expert sales tactics, and customer relationship management.

    Position Purpose and Requirements

    Sales leadership responsible for selling the company’s products or services, sales results, executing the organization’s sales plan in order to grow businesses and margins by developing and implementing sales strategies and tactics, as well as developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts. Performs as a resource with high level knowledge of company products and services and introduces new products.

     

    Basic Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of sales experience
    • At least 1 year of lead experience

    OR

    • Master’s degree and at least 6 years of sales experience
    • At least 1 year of lead experience

    OR

    • At least 10 years of sales experience
    • At least 1 year of lead experience

    Additional Requirements

    • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

    Desired Skills:

    • Must have On-Highway Truck Industry Experience.
    • Team player with broad business interest and perspective
    • Ability to apply education and experience to solve service parts problems.
    • At least 4 years experience in Parts Marketing or Dealer operations
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially related to the organization and oral presentation of analytically complex information.
    • Outgoing, highly self-motivated personality
