    We are seeking a Manager of Dealer Development

     

    In this role you will design, develop, and implement holistic dealer development programs in support of corporate initiatives.  These programs will span the breadth of customer experience and include new and used truck sales, leasing, finance, parts, and service.  You will help drive the Dealer network Transformation effort with particular focus on the Vision 2025 initiative.  Partner with functional leaders, dealers, and third party supporters on elevated dealer performance standards and measurements to validate those standards.   

     

    PRIMARY DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DESIRED END RESULTS

    • Consolidate dealer performance efforts and manage the overall dealer performance initiatives. Standardize and streamline the existing dealer performance process to enable a broader participation base.
    • Lead the cross-functional collaboration with other departments on dealer network activities, including identification and management of significant dealer network projects, and coordination and content management for regular dealer communications.
    • Collect, communicate, and maintain dealer best practices across the channel.
    • Support Sales Regions, Parts Group, and Service Organization to identify key markets within each region. Collaborate with the regional teams and the dealers to assess the greatest areas of opportunity within a market. Create specific action plans to capitalize on those opportunities.
    • Provide upper management with timely visibility to key milestones achieved, current or potential issues, and concerns which may impact deliverables. Ensure complete project and transaction transparency regularly, and create and distribute various analyses for executive management upon request
    • Lead critical process improvement initiatives.
    • Support Dealer Executive Council, Vision 2025 Committee, and Advisory Board activities.
    • Participate in cross-functional efforts to launch products, develop markets, or implement new systems

     

    Position Purpose and Requirements

    Leads people who perform project management duties involving cross-functional teams focused on delivery of internal products or administrative systems. Oversees plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors programs/projects from initiation through delivery and
    interfacing with internal customers or department personnel. Organizes project activities and interdepartmental meetings; ensures communication facilitates completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraints. May assign and monitor work of technical personnel providing support and interpretation of instructions/objectives. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

     

    Basic Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of project/program management experience
    • At least 4 years of management experience

    OR

    • Master’s degree and at least 8 years of project/program management experience
    • At least 4 years of management experience

    OR

    • At least 12 years of project/program management experience
    • At least 4 years of management experience

     

    Additional Requirements

    • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
