    We are seeking a Director level leader to join our Manufacturing leadership team as Supply Chain Director.  This role will strategically lead the supply chain operations for our manufacturing facilities, working closely with our manufacturing plants regarding proper inventory levels, warehousing, line delivery and all inbound supply initiatives that support manufacturing. 

     

    Key deliverables include:

    • Point of Application, ensuring parts are available to meet build schedules
    • EDI management, including new supplier set-up
    • New program plant material readiness
    • Racking for all material plant inbound
    • Financial planning to include Year over Year Identified Performance
    • Material Expedite and elevation to senior management
    • Plant manufacturing planning for inbound material
    • Partner with logistics to manage expedited freight
    • All Plant Inventory balances and accuracies

    Position Purpose and Requirements

    This role will support one or more of the following functions: material and services sourcing, procurement, supplier management, production planning, transportation, inventory control, distribution, and process reengineering. 

     

     

    Basic Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree and at least 14 years of materials management or supply chain experience
    • At least 6 years management experience

    OR

    • Master's degree and at least 12 years of materials management or supply chain experience
    • At least 6 years management experience

    OR

    • At least 16 years of materials management or supply chain experience
    • At least 6 years management experience

     

    Additional Requirements

    • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
    • POSITION TRAVEL OVER 75%
