    • Are excited about the Commercial Truck Industry & working with cutting edge engine technology, electrification, autonomous vehicles, telematics, &
    • Are you a recent grad or have up to six years of engineering experience?
    • Are you interested in supporting the Controls / Software Validation group to support new Product Development?
    • Contractor Role 12-months plus, potential to convert to Navistar FTE

    As a Navistar Product Development Engineer will assist with designing and development and validation of engine / vehicle interface functions for in-house and outsourced controllers used by Navistar. Examples: imbedded controls, electronic sensors, powertrains, air/fuel, emissions, preforms software testing, simulations testing and more

    • (MATLAB/Simulink or other modeling tools)
    • Execution of functional validation test cases on industry-standard HiL (Hardware-in-the-loop) equipment
    • Documentation to support process compliance
    • Strong desire to develop algorithms that work efficiently in real-time
    • Strong written and oral communication skills to explain work
    • Bachelors Degree in Engineering
