  • Overview

     

    The Director - Pricing and Analytics:

    • Lead the team that is responsible for dealer and national account strategies, competitive price position and pricing administration
    • Drive pricing actions to improve profitability
    • Influence multiple functions in the organization to achieve profit maximization with an understanding of the competitive landscape
    • Perform financial analyses to assess effectiveness of pricing actions
    • Act in concert with product managers, purchasing buyers and dealer and national account sales organizations to ensure integrated and profit maximizing approach to market
    • Drive market-based segmentation in collaboration with Product Managers and Sales Organization
    • Key member of team that will define new business processes, assess resource requirements and drive implementation/maintenance of the pricing system
    • Manage the total end-to-end pricing process, improve processes to maximize efficiencies and ensure prompt responsiveness to market conditions
    • Manage/Supervise Pricing team to deliver support activities including new price generation, discrepancy resolution, etc...

    Position Purpose and Requirements

    Defines, develops, evaluates and oversees the implementation of pricing models and strategies designed to optimize revenue, market share, brand positioning and long-term profits. Partners with Sales/Marketing, Business Development, Finance and other key stakeholders to correctly position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements. Monitors the ongoing business environment to ensure competitive pricing/market position and directs the development and analysis of pricing models and projections. Oversees the implementation of pricing proposals across the organization. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

     

     

    Basic Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree and at least 14 years of data analysis, data modeling, or pricing analysis experience
    • At least 6 years of management experience

    OR

    • Master’s degree and at least 12 years of data analysis, data modeling, or pricing analysis experience
    • At least 6 years of management experience

    OR

    • At least 16 years of data analysis, data modeling, or pricing analysis experience
    • At least 6 years of management experience

    Additional Requirements

    • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.     Desired Skills:
