    Navistar International, Lisle, IL in business for 100 plus years and manufacture and sells Class 4- 8 commercial and military trucks, diesel engines, school buses; and provides service parts for trucks and diesel engines worldwide.

     

    We not only make trucks for ourselves but for General Motors as well. We also have an alliance with Volkswagen Truck and Bus to share engine technology, electrification, autonomous vehicles, telematics, procurement joint venture and more.

     

    Hiring Contractor in Product Support to Write virtual repair plans for Navistar International trucks, buses, engines

     

    • 6 months 
    • Mon – Fri 8-5pm or 7-4pm
    • Office environment
    • Must have Technical training in Automotive or Diesel repair / maintenance
    • Or 4 year degree related to Auto Technology or Engineering
    • Experienced with Microsoft Office products

     

    Product Support - Action Plan Developer

    The Action Plan Developer will create and maintain action plans for vehicle Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC’s) and customer symptom concerns. Action Plans include all the necessary information (diagnostic steps, special instructions, service parts, special tools, standard repair times, etc.) to diagnose and repair vehicle DTC’s and customer symptom concerns.

     

    Additional Responsibilities Include:

    • Collaborate effectively across the organization: Engineering, Publications, Parts, etc. to ensure all aspects of the diagnostic and repair process are covered.

    Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
