  • Overview

    The Dealer Inventory Analyst - Customer Service will be responsible for: 

    • Analyze dealer scorecard and interpret findings to develop dealer inventory optimization plan
    • Communicate and train dealer network on DIA planning, work queues and returns
    • Develop and maintain positive communication with the dealer parts managers
    • Provide outstanding Customer Service - Answer questions through email, phone calls and all future communication portals in a timely, professional manner 
    • Assure customers/dealers receive the proper and timely assistance necessary through monitoring the interactions between them and a given support team
    • Responsible for meeting all department objectives and metrics
    • Collaborate with internal and external contacts to drive for results (issue elevation)
    • Intermediate familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
    • Ability to develop and communicate troubleshooting strategies to internal and external customers
    • Documents root cause, establishes action plans, reports progress, and follows through to resolution of issues
    • Demonstrate organizational skills and sense of urgency in a fast-paced multi-task environment when answering and responding to customer needs
    • Provides input to continuous improvement and lean operating practices to support Navistar and our customers

    Position Purpose and Requirements

    This role will support one or more of the following functions: material and services sourcing, procurement, supplier management, production planning, transportation, inventory control, distribution, and process reengineering.  


    Basic Requirements: 

    • At least 4 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience


    • Bachelor’s degree

    • At least 2 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience


    • Master’s degree

    Additional Requirements

    • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
