    Navistar is looking for motivated, egar and drive Procurement Associate Sr. You will be working within an Amazing Procurement team and management.


    This candidate needs to posses the ability to: 


    - Work in Fast Pace environment

    -Manufacturing environment

    -Buyer will obtain quotes and select supplier based on quality, lead time and price. The buyer will be purchasing indirect material and services that supports the manufacturing of school buses.



    Position Purpose and Requirements

    Provides administrative and clerical support specifically related to supply chain and procurement department activities. Maintains files, logs, records of invoices, purchase orders and other related documentation. Maintains information on computer systems. Assists in expediting orders. May assist buyers in contacting vendors to obtain prices and schedule delivery dates. May develop and maintain resources for assigned commodity items. Prepares standard requests for quotation. Assignments may require initiative regarding pricing revisions, order cancellations, discontinued items, acceptable substitutes, delivery date revisions and invoice discrepancies.



    Basic Requirements:

    •  Associate’s degree and at least 1 year of purchasing/procurement experience 


    • At least 2 years of purchasing/procurement experience

    Additional Requirements

    • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
