    We are seeking a Vocational Sales Manager who will oversee regional sales activity and growth for International® brand commercial trucks, products and services through our distribution channel to end users in the marketplace.

    This is a work from home position. Territory will be either the East or West. Your physical location may be in Eastern US, West US or Navistar WHQ in Lisle, IL is also acceptable.

    General responsibilities of the Vocational Sales Manager

    • As a Vocational sales professionals you will provide high level consulting to our Utility customers with regard to the proper product for their particular applications. Your goal is to grow an accounts fleet of International Truck’s. Our HX and HV vocational offerings offer superior configurations, functionality and built-in safety using Navistar’s advanced Diamond Logic programable PLC.
    • As the segments Vocational Truck Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will work with targeted International accounts with the first goal of retention through exceptional customer service and truck and Uptime leading to highest attainable fleet growth of International Trucks.  
    • You will execute sales strategy and plans for the utility segment of International’s vocational trucks.
    • Take the lead for structuring sales proposals, action plans for each customer.
    • Make a strong effort to achieve unit sales growth through current accounts and "conquest" opportunities.

    Position Purpose and Requirements

    Sales leadership responsible for selling the company’s products or services, sales results, executing the organization’s sales plan in order to grow businesses and margins by developing and implementing sales strategies and tactics, as well as developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts.  Performs as a resource with high level knowledge of company products and services and introduces new products. 



    Basic Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of sales experience


    • Master’s degree 


    • At least 4 years of sales experience


    Additional Requirements

    • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
