    Overview:

     Navistar - Driven By Uptime. Our focus is delivering Trucks and Buses that carry on the promise of being on the road, and staying there.

     

    Improve the dealer distribution channel through implementation of consistent performance expectations, metrics, reports, comparative market data, and financial information. Evaluate and communicate issues and improvement opportunities.  This role will work directly with the global dealership network as well as Navistar executives to ultimately streamline processes, improve network performance and cohesion, and enable a superior customer experience. 

     

    Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Manage the relationship between Navistar and over 1,000 independently owned global distribution locations.
    • Develop, monitor, and enforce dealer standards for International truck and IC bus distribution channels.
    • Recruit and retain dealer candidates and manage dealer channel transitions
    • Develop, implement, and administer a long term distribution strategy designed to drive dealer behavior and optimize Navistar and dealer profitability
    • Contribute to key executive messaging and represent Navistar and its dealer organization at industry and customer events as well as in legal matters
    • Represent Navistar on the Dealer Council, Dealer Executive Council, and various Dealer Advisory Boards
    • Support strategic corporate initiatives by representing the dealer channel in strategic discussions and appropriately engaging the dealer network in key initiatives.
    • Understand cross-functional dealer engagement efforts and make prioritization decisions in conjunction with senior executives

    Oversees operations with multiple functions in a division or business unit. Directs the organization to ensure the attainment of financial and operational goals within the division/business unit in support of the company’s overall financial and strategic objectives. Establishes budgets, short- and long-range objectives and criteria for monitoring progress and measuring success. Administers the organization’s policies through subordinate managers and directs and coordinates activities of more than one department, such as engineering, operations, information technology, accounting and finance. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the division/business unit.

     

    Basic Requirements:

     

    • Bachelor's degree and at least 14 years of business operations experience
    • 6 years of management experience

    OR

    • Master's degree and at least 12 years of business operations experience
    • 6 years of management experience

    OR

    • At least 16 years of business operations experience
    • 6 years of management experience

     

    Additional Requirements

    • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
