    The Senior Financial Analyst's responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following.


      1. Lead preparation for monthly financial, operating & board reviews; Assist in ad hoc analysis & requests.
      2. Develop and implement consistent financial and operational analyses.
      3. Support planning cycle from Strategic Plan to monthly forecasts
      4. Develops robust analysis and insights to facilitate and influence decision making processes
      5. Build financial models for Procurement finance that help guide critical business and analytical decision making

    Position Purpose and Requirements

    Develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control. Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. Performs economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, warranties, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.


    Basic Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of finance experience


    • Master's degree and 1 year of finance experience


    • At least 5 years of finance experience

    Additional Requirements

    • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
