The UpTime Parts Senior Sales Consultant will be tasked with driving growth in all segments of UpTime Parts revenue, while maintaining an equally strong focus on margins and profitability.  This position will require calling on and building relationship with a variety of customers, both fleets and dealers.  Candidate will become familiar with UpTime Parts product offerings that support Workhorse fleets and the Navistar Light Duty (LD) program.  Additionally, this position will play a critical role in driving Navistar’s Parts Expand Customer reach initiative, which will seek to increase reach to customers who do not traditionally utilize the dealer network through diverse channel strategies and an increased retail focus.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales of Workhorse parts by engaging directly with fleets and with the Workhorse dealer network.
  • Work with materials, distribution, and customer service teams within UpTime Parts to exceed customer expectations.
  • Promote the Navistar Light Duty program with International dealers and fleets.
  • Develop and implement strategies for expanding customer reach, i.e. increasing Navistar’s share of medium and heavy-duty parts sales among traditionally non-dealer customers.
  • Develop and implement retail strategies in support of both UpTime Parts revenue and the Expand Customer Reach initiative.
  • Provide leadership by demonstrating excellent sales capabilities, expert sales tactics, and customer relationship management.

Position Purpose and Requirements

Sales leadership responsible for selling the company’s products or services, sales results, executing the organization’s sales plan in order to grow businesses and margins by developing and implementing sales strategies and tactics, as well as developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts. Performs as a resource with high level knowledge of company products and services and introduces new products.

 

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of sales experience
  • At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

  • Master’s degree and at least 6 years of sales experience
  • At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

  • At least 10 years of sales experience
  • At least 1 year of lead experience

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
  • Able to travel 75% within the U.S

  • Knowledge of and experience with aftermarket parts sales in heavy, medium, and light duty truck markets
