We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Professional - Parts New Model Launch to join our procurement team. This role is part of the team that manages parts inventories for new Navistar vehicles and engines, ensuring parts are available at our Parts Distribution Centers when a new product launches. Position works closely with Product Support Managers and suppliers to ensure purchase orders are placed and followed up on, as well as follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery to our PDC's prior to the new product being introduced.
This role will support one or more of the following functions: material and services sourcing, procurement, supplier management, production planning, transportation, inventory control, distribution, and process reengineering.
