We are seeking - National Account Manager, International Trucks who will execute our sales strategy for exponential activity and growth of International® brand commercial trucks, products and services to fleet organizations within the U.S.

The National Account Manager will be responsible for:

  • Implementing sales strategies with the account’s sales organization contributing to a plan level of sales and profitability
  • Growing market share, and promoting Navistar products and offerings.  

 

As part of a cross-functional team, additional responsibilities include:

  • Working with the account’s maintenance organization to insure holistic customer satisfaction in various areas;
  • Aiding in vehicle prototype and order processing management; product presentations; and
  • Integration of Navistar engineering and manufacturing’s efforts to support the timely production of quality vehicles.

Position Purpose and Requirements

Provide leadership by demonstrating excellent sales capabilities, expert sales tactics, and customer relationship management. Accountable for meeting annual National Account retail fleet sales volume and revenue targets. Achieve profitable growth and increased market share by targeting “conquest” accounts. Develop and manage relationships directly with National Account fleets, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction. Provide ongoing support to retain customer accounts. Prepare comprehensive proposals to include value added Truck, Parts, Service, and Finance programs. Refine and customize the corporate business and vehicle center strategy to the needs of individual fleet.

 

 

Basic Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of sales experience, product support, or technical product knowledge

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of sales experience, product support, or technical product knowledge

OR

  • Master’s degree and at least 1 years of sales experience, product support, or technical product knowledge

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
