Overview

This Product Compatibility Specialist is responsible for the creation and maintenance of data used to define and support all facets of compatibility relationships for both internal and external customers. This position requires a proficient understanding of various tools (i.e. CDMS, CVT., PTS, TOPS, MS Office, etc.) used in the analysis, organization, development, and translation of their various forms of information into the CPAC database to define these compatibility relationships. Additional responsibilities include ensuring informational integrity of the compatibilities database, resolving potential issues related to this database, identifying process improvements, recommending system modifications, organizing and prioritizing multiple projects to meet specific deadlines, providing cross-training to other team members and guidance to Application Engineering, CRC and Dealer Field Support personnel.

Position Purpose and Requirements

Oversees writing, editing and authenticating of technical and promotional materials including application papers, product descriptions, data sheets, specification books, conference presentations and brochures. May also create content for Internet-based communications. Analyzes and interprets data to determine appropriate syntax, style and grammatical usage required for documents. Prepares multimedia presentations. Selects graphics to be incorporated in literature. 

 

 

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of process or project management experience

OR

  • Master’s degree 

OR

  • At least 4 years of process or project management experience

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
