As the Sales Administration Sr., you will be responsible for administrating all sales and marketing-related aspects of the Used Truck Organization. This role involves more than completing and approving administrative paperwork. It requires analysis and dissection of information, participation in meetings, and provides summaries and mappings as per the task(s) at hand, within the Used Truck Organization. 

You would act as a liaison among District Sales Managers, National Accounts and other departments such as the Operations and Finance teams to solve problems as they arise. Moreover you would analyze the reports and provide key insights into industry trends, used truck market share, pricing analytics, etc.

The Sales Associate. Sr.:

  • Communicates and measures plans through several initiatives, programs and projects.
  • Frequently develops reports and drives insights for the Vice President of Sales and the Used Truck Marketing Manager
  • Manages several projects simultaneously, recommends changes to current sales reporting structures, and makes recommendations on how to improve the sales process based on results and observations.
  • Prepares detailed reports based on market research, sales results, and data management. 
  • Works well with other managers in the organization to share departmental information and streamline project needs. 
  • Is savvy at Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Is meticulous and possess an analytical bent in all that you do. 

This position is based out of Navistar’s headquarters in Lisle, IL and allows for a large amount of exposure and future growth within the company.  

Position Purpose and Requirements

Provides timely and effective administrative support within the Sales function.  Provides support in areas such as order processing, customer quotes, sales information management, product training and financing.   Maintains customer files with sales contracts and other information.  May coordinate with departments regarding order status, shipping dates, prices, product availability and back orders.

 

Basic Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree and at least 1 year of business administration experience

OR

  • At least 2 years of business administration experience

 

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
