We are currently seeking a Supplier Warranty Specialist to join our staff at our world headquarters in Lisle. This role interfaces with a diverse group of suppliers to recover warranty claims paid out to dealers. Working with groups within Navistar (Customer Service, Reliability and Quality, Engineering and Supplier Quality) this Specialist shares information to all parties, including our dealer network and suppliers, to identify root causes, report back any issues in diagnosis and, if it is a supplier issue, recover the warranty spend per our agreement. This role will also negotiate agreements with new and established suppliers within Navistar's supplier base.
Manages the relationship of a group of suppliers to ensure financial reimbursement of monies paid out on warranty claims comes back to Navistar. Works collaboratively with the product review center, category management teams and dealer network. Provides administrative support of the supplier recovery, failed material return process and charge back/appeal process.
Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of field service, engineering, or reliability experience
