Director, Finance – Truck Revenue

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the President, Truck and Parts with financial and operational analysis associated with New Truck Sales, Used Truck and Pricing performance metrics for North America.
  • Partner with the VP, Central Sales Administration in achieving pricing objectives.
  • Lead and develop a team of 30.
  • Manage all financial aspects including monthly financial reporting, financial forecasts and plans, strategic financial plans, financial decision modeling and analysis, advice and counsel related to North America (new truck, used truck and pricing).
  • Coordinate Board of Director presentations for the NA Truck group
  • Continuously change and improve processes to capture margin opportunities, enhance analysis and increase productivity.
  • Insure accurate accounting in the areas of revenue recognition, and used truck inventory and income.
  • Provide a lead financial role in the implementation of strategic business objectives including increased A26 penetration and doubling dealer sales.
  • Support the overall Integrated Business Planning process.
  • Assist/develop presentation materials in preparation and support of ad hoc requests and forecasts.

Position Purpose and Requirements

Manages, prepares, administers, and directs the control of the budget. Manages the activities of the financial analyst staff. Reviews and approves recommendations for financial planning and control, providing relevant fiscal information to executive management team. Monitors division and department adherence to approved budget. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. 

 

 

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree + 12 years of finance and budgeting experience, including 6 years management experience

     

OR

  • Master's degree + 10 years of finance and budgeting experience, including 6 years management experience

OR

  • At least 14 years of finance and budgeting experience, including 6 years management experience

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
