Overview

The Integrated Marketing Manager is responsible for:

  • Developing comprehensive marketing strategies and tactics that address business needs, including but not limited customer insight-based planning to drive dealer retail sales on a national level, understanding target audience segmentation and ability to activate, understanding of channel roles and cross-channel activation and measurement.
  • Possess a unique blend strategy and creativity, with the ability to understand business needs, marketing’s role in helping to solve and deliver through creative execution.
  • Leading with ambiguity cross functions and channels, including but not limited to parts, service, local dealer marketing, engineering, pricing and promotions, product line executive and sales. 
  • Managing agency partners across channels to drive industry-leading efforts across print and digital advertising, events, public relations, digital, CRM.
  • Must demonstrate ability to leverage a master brand strategy/brief and execute consistently across all activation channels.
  • Budget maintenance within the vehicle category and metrics reporting.

Position Purpose and Requirements

Oversees strategic planning, development and coordination of all marketing communications programs to promote the sale of company products and further the company's sales objectives. Consults with other areas of management or business units, sales departments, and advertising agencies to leverage web marketing, trade show activity and direct marketing. Manages the preparation of sales aids, controls advertising and public relations projects, and recommends the media best suited to sell specific products or services. Interacts with vendors to produce promotional material. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

 

Basic Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of marketing or communications experience
  • At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

  • Master’s degree and at least 4 years of marketing or communications experience
  • At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

  • At least 8 years of marketing or communications experience
  • At least 1 year of lead experience 

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
  • Must be willing to travel on an average of at least 20% of the time.

Desired Skills:

  • MBA preferred
  • Ability to work with ambiguity in fast-paced environment with changing dynamics
  • Previous agency experience- as an employee preferred, or as a client
  • Strategic Thinker with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in leading, planning and executing cross-channel, integrated marketing plansKnowledge of market segmentation techniques, market analysis, and marketing strategy development.
