The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist with growing the revenue and profitability of the service contract business by examining service contract profitability and determining future pricing
  • Review competitive documentation and develop warranty comparisons to assist in creating competitive and profitable service contract options
  • Develop relationships with International dealer network and marketing and sales functions within each vehicle center
  • Assist in implementing, administering and coordinating policies, procedures, and programs related to the service contract organizations goals and objectives
  • Responsible for facilitating the implementation, process design and change management related to ongoing system enhancements, new business requirements and process improvements that create customer value
  • Maintain effective procedures to ensure timely pricing, sales/distribution, invoicing, and profitability of service contracts
  • Break down Service Contracts for profitability
  • Conduct competitive reviews and benchmarks to develop competitive and profitable service contract options
  • Evaluate and interpret warranty data that will assist in developing competitive and profitable service contracts
  • Develop and provide tools to enable daily service contract expense forecasting
  • Facilitate the implementation, process design and change management related to ongoing system enhancement and new business requirements

Position Purpose and Requirements

Develops, evaluates and implements pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics. Conducts research and performs competitive pricing analysis. Monitors ongoing competitive environment to ensure practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction. Partners with Sales/Marketing, Business Development and Finance to correctly position product portfolio and establish
pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements. Projects impact of pricing changes, individual promotions and rebate programs on revenue. Creates/administers pricing databases and coordinates implementation of pricing proposals across the organization.

 

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of data analysis, data modeling, or pricing analysis experience

OR

  • At least 7 years of data analysis, data modeling, or pricing analysis experience

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree

  • Advanced skills Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint
