Working closely with senior team members the Sales Planning Analyst is a liaison between Sales, Finance as well as Information Technology.
In addition the Planning Analyst will:
Conducts statistical analysis on sales data and information to ensure optimal sales execution and attainment of growth objectives. Develops territorial sales quotas in accordance with the profit plan. Maintains on-line sales and marketing system, verifying the accuracy of the data and acting as liaison with IT in identifying and resolving problems. Instructs sales, marketing managers, field area managers, and support staff in accessing sales and marketing information. Prepares and controls commission incentive budgets for a particular district or region. Performs sales calculations on sales incentives. May administer the field sales forecasting system, which provides management with current product sales potential.
Familiar with Microsoft Excel using formulas such as VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and IF Statements as well as Pivot Tables
Looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics
For the use of Excel, a little Computer Science background is a plus, but not a necessity
For business strategy, a little Business and/or Economics background is a plus, but not a necessity
