    We are seeking a West Region Vocational Sales Manager who will oversee regional sales activity and growth for International® brand commercial trucks, products and services through our distribution channel to end users in the marketplace.

    General responsibilities of the Regional Vocational Sales Manager

    • Vocational sales professionals provide high level consulting to our dealer’s with regard to the proper product for their particular customer base with the goal of growing their businesses, engineering and marketing configurations.
    • As the regions Vocational Truck Subject Matter (SME) and market expert, work with targeted International dealer’s to grow their business and Navistar’s market size.
    • Execute sales strategy and plans for the vocational segment of International’s West Region Truck business.
    • Structure sales proposals for share growth with action plans developed for each customer.
    • Achieve identified unit sales growth for "conquest" accounts and unit volume for retention accounts.

    Position Purpose and Requirements

    Sales leadership responsible for selling the company’s products or services, sales results, executing the organization’s sales plan in order to grow businesses and margins by developing and implementing sales strategies and tactics, as well as developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts. Performs as a resource with high level knowledge of company products and services and introduces new products.

     

    Basic Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of sales experience
    • At least 1 year of lead experience

    OR

    • Master’s degree and at least 6 years of sales experience
    • At least 1 year of lead experience

    OR

    • At least 10 years of sales experience
    • At least 1 year of lead experience

    Additional Requirements

    • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
