The Aerodynamics Chief Engineer is responsible for initiating and delivering industry leading research and product development in commercial vehicle aerodynamics and thermal engineering.
Responsible for aerodynamic tool development, execution and correlation including wind tunnel, on-road (coast down, constant speed), and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) results.
The Aerodynamics Chief Engineer will perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to the following:
Oversees overall engineering functions. Responsible for leading the processes, problem solving and implementing solutions to the most complex and high risk engineering issues. Provides leadership on a broad basis; influences technical and regulatory standards bodies. Serves as a critical asset in helping Corporation influence the engineering strategy of key partners.
