Overview

This position is located in the Southwest Region: AZ, CA, TX and Surrounding States

 

The Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) is responsible for optimizing regional and dealer marketing activity through direct engagements with International Truck Dealers. The RMM will play an integral role in the dealer annual planning process, execution of marketing activities and management of the post-activity follow up process. The RMM will be responsible for facilitating the growth of dealer’s marketing capabilities to drive improved profitability and marketplace awareness for both International and the dealer brand.

 

Position will work with assigned regional sales team, vehicle center marketing teams, agency resources and dealer clients to execute region and dealer specific marketing solutions to effect common goals and objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Specifically the RMM will: 

  • Work with Regional VP to develop regional specific marketing plans and programs utilizing allocated marketing budget to achieve annual sales goals.
  • Become the marketing expert for your regions and dealers, providing consultative input and recommendations to each dealer on dealer brand positioning, marketing best practices, resources and tool availability.
  • Facilitate the marketing planning process for assigned dealers.
  • Conduct ongoing plan management of dealer marketing plans throughout the year including, budget allocations, tactics, customer targets, qualified lead management and ROI metrics.
  • Act as a support arm for the regional sales teams in achieving their business plan goals.
  • Understand and support all product and service offerings available to International dealers and customers.
  • Develop regional marketing campaigns, training and customer events.
  • Support national marketing campaigns, training and customer events.
  • Become the trusted liaison between corporate marketing, the field personnel and dealers, forging a partnership and line of communication.

 

Position Purpose and Requirements

Evaluates business opportunities to define and optimize the product portfolio through analysis and understanding of targeted markets, market trends, new technology, customer business issues and the competitive environment. Applies broad knowledge of company product capabilities and service offerings with in-depth analysis of market position to create and expand the portfolio of products and solution alternatives. Works closely with product development to create products and validates early product definitions with customers. Uses technical expertise and extensive industry experience to formulate product strategies and identify new product opportunities. Responsible for developing project plans
designed to address customer needs and/or expand market share. [NOTE: This position is both strategic and technical in nature and requires
extensive industry experience.]

 

 

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of marketing experience

OR

  • At least 7 years of marketing experience

 

 

 

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
  • 50% Travel

  • Product knowledge or aptitude to quickly learn vehicle product attributes

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of Transportation Industry is a plus
