We are seeking a motivated outside sales professional with excellent relationship building skills. A true hunter, able to influence decision makers will do very well. Most importantly, your enthusiasm for learning our truck product line and industry will ensure your success.


Outside Sales Representative – What We Offer

Outside Sales Representative – Responsibilities

  • Sells pre-owned trucks to fleets and owner operators
  • Prospect for new business
  • Build and maintain client base
  • Follow-up on “hot leads” generated from multiple marketing sources
  • Schedule weekly time for customer prospecting, floor & phone calls



  • At least 2 years successful sales experience
  • Mechanical aptitude and/ or truck knowledge
  • Adept computer applications skills


Our Used Truck Centers (UTC’s) continue to diversity their inventory, offering wide selection of International and competitor product within price ranges to suit most any buyer’s budget.

Position Purpose and Requirements

Responsible for pre-owned truck sales in Navistar’s Used Truck centers.


Basic Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years outside or inside sales experience


  • 4 years of truck industry experience

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CDL  status  (Commercial Drivers License)

  • 5 plus years truck, or automotive  sales experience is preferred in a sales commission environment
